Asda to pilot packaging-free, refillable versions of popular groceries

The trial will take place in the Middleton store in Leeds and shoppers will be able to fill up reusable containers with a variety of products, such as coffee, rice and pasta.

The pilot is part of the company's aim to reduce the amount of plastic packaging it uses by 15%, by February 2021.
